In Kandy District, the Gaga Ihala Koralaya Divisional Secretariat region has been separated from the Udapalatha Divisional Secretariat region as a separate administrative Division on 1971. Firstly, the Divisional Secretariat Office has been established in a private owner’s building at Walikanda area in-between Gampola – Dolosbage bus route . In 1998, the Divisional Secretariat Office has been established in a new building at Kuruduwaththa area. Presently the Office is located at the same premises at Kuruduwaththa town.
Rout to the Office
From Gamploa town turn to Dolosbage route and travel about 8 km. The Divisional Secretariat Office is located at Kuruduwaththa town.
From Nawalapitiya town take Dolosbage rout an travel about 12 km ,then turn to right at Meriwila junction and travel 6.8 km. The Gaga Ihala Koralaya Divisional Secretariat is located at Kuruduwaththa town.
